99 Grand Caravan Transmission

Transmission does not want to go into gear when is first started. Transmission is only 12000 miles old and battery is brand new. Also, fluid levels are fine. After van warms up the transmission works fine. What is the problem? Is it electrical?

Sounds like a pressure loss or poor seal on the filter.
