Engine Swap?

:SPIN: Yeap. I'm a newbie.Thanks for taking the time to read my thread.
Anyway,I have a bad 2.5 turbo engine in a 89 caravan,i can't seem to find
a used turbo engine where I live soooo does anyone know if I could
replace the 2.5 turbo with a 2.5 non turbo?And what kind of trouble
can i expect. Thank you in advance for your help.

Swap it! The only difference is the shape of the head. If you have something that doesn't plug in, take it off the old engine. This shouldn't be a problem if the years aren't to far apart. Plug all vacuum lines that aren't going to be used and you should be fine.

Umm, the heads are actually the same dude.

I would see if you can get your local wrecker to satellite locate a replacement for you or just fix yours. A motor out of a car would be the same.
