well since my car will not be here for some time, i am going to start purchasing my stereo and video parts.

Since i got the navigation, i will not need a head unit
I am transfering my Rockford amp and Kicker 12 L7 from my mustang. I would like to go bigger on the woofer or add another 12, but the factory radio will not be able to keep up. I am trying to walk away from all the stero stuff.
I will be adding an audiovox rear view mirror camera with monitor
2 8" widescreen flip down monitors in the rear
1 8" monitor for the the front. (looking at the layout i think it will have to be custom mounted with by gooseneck or some other sort)
I am also thinking about adding a 15 inch monitor for the liftgate panel when the back is up.

Coming from a competition car audio background I would have to say that the stock sound system sounds pretty good IMO. I was kicking some Snoop Dogg today with the bass turned up about 3/4 and watched the mirrors as they vibrated to the beat. Nice bottom and piercing highs. If you're trying to avoid going too far with audio I would suggest maybe just adding in an equalizer to make the sound even better. 288 watts is nice if you're not too concerned about adding more power.

That 15" monitor sounds pretty nice though. Make sure you send pics sa you do these. :)

The blind spots in our Magnum is in fact one of the things that I'm not totally happy with. When you bring up the idea of installing a camera and attaching it to the Navigator, now that's a great idea.

When you get it installed, I'd really like to see some pictures and a wiring diagram on how you did it. I was wondering what button you'd use to get the video to the Navigator?
