I am waiting to get a AWD RT...
But I just read about the SRT-8...
Does anyone know if the SRT-8 will come with AWD?

As far as I have read, the SRT-8 is still a figment. It may came and it may not, who knows with DumblerChrysler. Anyone see Top Gear last night? The new Porsche Carrera GT walked all over the Mclaren-Mercedes that was supposed to be the "best production car in the world".

Hi.
I work at the factory that builds the 300C and the Magnum and I can tell you that the SRT - 8 (or 6.1l as we call it) is definitely going to be an option on these cars. So far only the 5.7l Hemi and the 3.5l six are going to have AWD however.
I also had an engineer tell me that if DC can figure how to put a hole in the floor they might offer the six speed Viper tranny with the 6.1l.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for the update
I live in Michigan I really think that I need AWD until or unless I can test the traction control in the snow

Hey, GlennMac, give us an inside glimpse into the making of a Magnum. How many problems/complaints have you heard? I purchased an SXT that was built pre-April and I've had a few quality issues that just shouldn't be there. How come so many little things are not caught at the factory, and do heads roll when there are problems? Just curious. The problems I refer to include right-pull alignment problem, foam in the front fenders not being glued in, broken headliner clip, inoperable window switch, battery cable recall, etc. I love my Magnum, though.
