my girlfriend has a 2004 neon......
what would the engine/tranny code be??
also her car isnt a srt-4 or a sxt so what is the trim package,is it a base model??
now to the real questions: she got in a wreck and totaled her car(just alot of front end damage, all the plastics on the front clip basically hood, fenders, bumper etc.) any way i guess when the wreck happened she hit hard enough to split the seam of one of the four intake tubes on the intake manifold
now with the car running i can put my hand the tube and feel a light suction along with a hissing noise.... shes driving the car just fine but i feel this is just gonna cause more issues down the road....
is thier some kind of replacement oem manifold i can buy that isnt made of this same plastic composite shit???
now i know if i go to dealership its gonna be expensive... i tried looking on ebay but thier used, used isnt a problem but im sure i could pull one myself for cheaper if im gonna go that way
now i also was wondering is this a DIY job and is it difficult, could someone point me in the direction that i need to be in...
is thier any trick that i need to be aware of when i pull the manifold mine/junkyard
i have a little bit of mechanical knowledge from working on my own car but i have no knowlegde of the noen or any newer car for that matter....
any input will be greatly appreticated thanks in advance
