ahhhh this was the greatest day in my life, i saw more than 100 vipers today!!!!!! ANNNDDDDDD i got to ride in 2 vipers, one a gts the other an rt/10!!!! i will post pics later when i get my film devoloped, and whenever my friend sends me the pics from his camera of me in the viper. it was the greatest day i could possibly imagin!!
has anybody seen that jack in the box commercial with that viper in it? well it was filmed RIGHT HERE NEAR WHERE I LIVE!!!!! ahhhhhh!!!!! annndddd i was talking to the guy who jack himself choose to drive. what i mean is that the viper you saw on the commercial was the one for that guy that i was talking to!!!!! (but jack really didnt drive it). viperrrrr

The only time I got to sit in one was at the Dealership when my truck was in for service once. "Gun metal grey" as I call it (graphite grey)... So I did the same thing as you, strapped myself in, and ran through the gears.... :)
My one friend... his Dad bought a 67 Coronet R/T and had it shipped from across country on one of those transport rigs. The day it was delivered, the R/T was a few cars in, so he moved "Some other car" as John put it.. and then fired up this red Viper RT/10. Him and his whole family have their pictures taken in it! The story was, that the car belonged to a Nascar driver (can't remember who now..) and he raced it in a league with other modded Vipers, and it was being sent to get a Rollcage and the racing body kit installed somewhere down south. So they have all kinds of pictures of them sitting in the Viper and with their vehicles parked next to it :)

oh ya, i forgot to add this:
the viper that i got to ride in was that red one that you are seeing, which recently won a race here in california, and the guy who drives it has a racing license. when we were on the 45 MPH speed zone, he took me to over 100 mph!!!! we got to 100 mph sooooo fast that you wouldnt believe it (sun ra kat will believe it)! and we passed this truck and he was beeping at us, he is such a good driver with his viper, and you would not believe how quick the steeing was, because he was on the same lane of the truck, so he quickely manouvered to the left and back to the right to pass the truck.... at 100 MPH!!!!! it was as if i had whip lash. sorry if im talking alot, im just so excited the ride of my life.
The rt/10 that i rode in was a green 1995 and in at car, some teenagers aproached us and they were screaming "COOL! VIPER! GO FAST!" it was so cool, and he just stepped on the pedel and mad a hard 90 degree turn because there was our intersection, but when he made the turn he wasnt stepping fully on the pedel. and then we got back to the 45 mph speed zone :), god i love that 45 mph road.... its a long straight wide empty road! that is the road that he also steped on it, but i didnt know how fast we were going in the RT/10.
i had a harrrrrrrrdddd time sleeping last night

MORE PICTURES OF ME AT THE VCA!!!!!!!! YIPEEEEE!!! actually i loaded the film into my camera wrong (and i am so extreemely pissed) so i asked my friend, brad (who was also there and owns a viper gts), if i would use his pics, and he said yes. THANKS BRAD!
-since the film wasnt in correct, i had corrected it in the car drive back home and snaped a few photo of some rams, im hoping to get it developed this saturday, after i go to another viper event!

are you gonna add stripes to your viper? it make the viper look so much more lethal... ive seen a yellow one withough stripes and one with stripes... and the stripes give it more "mean'ness". just imaging if your infront of somebody who is into cars, one if the things thats going to attract his attention is thoes mean stripes. it also makes the car look much wider in my opinion

They look nice, but for that money I'll be putting it towards the Sean Roe Supercharger (which I did already) and professional instruction on driving my Viper (at Viper Days, which I did already).

The stripes are painted by the company that paints the body parts, so they are already painted (like the rest of the Viper) before the body parts are attached to the frame.
Aftermarket stripes still would have cost $3,000 and would have been done by Woodhouse's body shop - take the body parts off that can come off (the hood) and paint the stripes.
Some people have used vinyl stripes or had them painted on for a lot less money, but these options are not nearly as good as the factory stripes.
Just like my Ram truck, my Viper looks great the way it came from the factory, so almost all mods are hidden under the hood.

but every viper i see that has stripes, their stripes are sticking out like stickers, and you could feel where the stripes start and ebd because it seems like thay are stickers. are you sure they are painted into the body?

I did the exact same "feely" test with my fingers and asked the same question when I went into the Viper Pit at Woodhouse and picked up my Viper and I was told the stripes I was feeling were factory painted stripes.
I tried in vain earlier to find the build list for the 2002 Vipers - it's broken down into how many of each kind - RT-10, GTS, & GTS ACR - were built and also what color - stripes or no stripes - were produced in the 2002 model year.
