2005 Caravan / General Remote Start Questions

My associate is looking at his options to install a remote starter for his 2005 Caravan. I'm guessing there are few people out there who have dove very deeply into the wiring of one of these, but if anyone has any links to sites or information that would be useful in installing a setup yourself, please let me know.

Also, curious about Mopar remote starters. Never seen one, the key fob or unit, and want to know how they stack up against the competition.

If anyone has experience with remote starters or alarms on a Caravan with power sliding doors, it would be especially helpful to know how that works out.

Being a dealer I would recommend using the Mopar unit. Designed by the factory and warranty approved by the factory. Have had a few headaches with aftermarket remote starters to say the least.

I've installed 'Autostart' remote car starters on many makes and models. A very reliable product. The Mopar unit hasn't been out long. Can't say how good it will turn out to be. But I can say it's the sweetest remote install I've ever done. It's almost plug and play. To install ourself Mopar will save you time, aftermarket will save you money.
