Ok, ok, I know I'm a Ram truck guy, but this little pocket rocket is too unbelieveable. I went to my Dodge dealership where I purchased said Ram for some service, and while it was being I had some time to kill so I decided to look around in the showroom. In the showroom was the Neon SRT-4. I've heard a lot about them- 230-whp, 250 lb-ft of torque, Mitsubishi 16G turbo boosting at 15 psi, 5-speed, I knew my stuff. I checked it out and to my surprize I actually fit in it (I'm 6' 5" and 280 lbs). The dealer that sold me my Ram 2 years ago comes up and ask if I like it, and I'm like "hell ya it's nice". Then he ask me if I wana take one for a spin. Well, that's a no brainer! So we get into one that's outside, it's black with the sunroof, and take a fun little "spin". The exhaust sounds downright mean, and I mean MEAN, and what a thrill to lay on the gas, watch the Autometer boost gauge fly to 15, hear the turbo spool, rip it into the next gear and listen to the wastegate- awesome. Then to my surprize the window sticker says only $21,680 bucks plus tax and title. I'm like "whoa!" Then, just to sweeten the deal, my salesman cuts off $2,500 bucks and throws in the Mopar Stage 1 package for free (!!) and gets me 0% financing for 60 months! Awesome guy! Needless to say I signed then and there, and I'm going to pick it up Saturday. Can't wait!
