New Photos of my Viper didn't get done this afternoon as I had promised because I went a-Vipering again instead.

Sorry.

I pulled out of my garage to park it on the driveway and then pop the hood to take some photos, but it was already running and this was the first time I've had my Viper in weather below 80-90 degrees.

(My Viper sounds like a monster big block with open headers that are just barely muffled.)

I had gotten special Viper floor and trunk mats earlier in the day. Black with a big smirking snake head and "VIPER" all in Yellow to match my car. Then later in the day I got my Sean Roe Racing VEC1 and a letter staing my deposit for the Sean Roe Supercharger had been recieved.

Driving a Viper in cooler temperatures is just like driving any other vehicle with a cold air intake - it makes much more power.

I finally came home as the night sky turned from dark blue to grayish black and watched the stars come out and just sat in the Viper for an hour while my heart rate slowed down slowly. I had scared myself again with the unbelievable accelleration. I had taken the Viper to 5500 RPM several times at 2/3 throttle and the last run of the night I went to 5800 RPM at 3/4 throttle.

Or so I thought. With the engine off and parked in my driveway watching the stars come out I checked for the first time how far down is the floor with the snake pedal. I thought I was going 2/3 pedal, but it was only 1/2 pedal. My ultra scarey 3/4 pedal was only 2/3 pedal. And I have a Supercharger on order that will give me 80-100 more rear wheel horsepower from just above idle up to 4500 RPM and 100-135 more rear wheel horsepower from 4500 to 6000 RPM! 565 rear wheel horsepower = 650 flywheel horsepower!

I'll try tomorrow to get the photos...

I washed the Viper for the first time this morning and also got a fill up because yesterday's hot rodding used half a tank of gas and went on for 142 miles. Ten gallons of 93 octane later and I get 14.2 MPG.

I also took the photos after I washed the Viper & will post them this afternoon.
