Power wire

Just wanted to ask if anyone had tried one of AIRRAM's power wires, or had spliced in a home brew power wire on their Avenger. I read in the AIRRAM forum that it works on a Caliber 2.0...

Well, I fabricated one just for giggles, and have been running with it for about two weeks. Cannot say if things have changed much yet, but maybe after I refill the tank. It did seem to reduce the engine hesistation (I wonder if that is torque management?) you get when shifting from R to D after backing out of the driveway...
