For those with the manual and 3.92 rear end. ONLY
What is your RPM in 6th gear at 60mph and 80mph.
Feel free to post higher speeds...:D

I'm considering trading in my Cobra, but I want good cruising RPM's on freeway.

The only way I would give up my Cobra would require an anti-spin diff and equal or lower gear ratio (to 3:55).

On mine 60mph is @1300. at 80 its about 1700. 125mph in 4th gear is about 5500 and still pulling hard. Ran out of room :-)

Do you have a 3:92 rear end?
Those rpm numbers are hard to believe for 3:92 ratio.
My 6th is 2200rpm at 80mph.
Cobra in 4th at 125mph is bouncing the rev limiter at ~6500. Did that a month ago... A Mustang GT slapdown.:buttkick:

^ with no track pack you will have an open diff, aka "1 tire fire" lol

You might have an open dif but you wil also have the ESP traction control where if a tire starts to spin it uses the brakes to transfer the power to the other tire.

That is not entirely true.
My wife's 06 D has ESP.
It actually cuts power by about 1/2 until wheel spin subsides (drive by wire).
The only time the brakes are applied (independent of the pedal) is if a yaw is detected.
There is no substitute for a traction aid device. :D
In the context that Dodge is referring to, 'spin protection' is referring to the vehicle, not the tire.

now that I own one, I can tell you the ESP does almost nothing for wheelspin! lol
