question for friend

Hello! I have a friend that just got an 04 durango 5.7L. DANG that thing is nice--congrats to all yall out there that have one.

anyway...she had it vandalized andone of the parts destroyed was a foglight. she went to a dodge dealership and they stated they don't have those parts cause they're "not available yet, because the vehicle is too new"

WTF gives? does anyone know where she can find just the cover? (not the whole unit...)

I don't know anything about dodges, so if you can please be really specific with me (www addresses, parts numbers, phone numbers, etc) so I can pass the info along to her accurately

Sorry to hear about your friend's truck! Vandalizing someone's car is just wrong! (I had a beautiful 3-series BMW before this truck and someone spray painted it once! Believe that?! NUTS!)

Anyway--I'd say try another dealer. Find a good Dodge/Chrysler repair dept. that has someone who wants to help you find it. I do not know if the fog light parts are sold individually, but someone knows for sure--and it sounds like you need to find that person! Sorry I can't help more!

They must be bs'ing you. The fog lamp, which is only available as an assembly, is available from Dodge. As a matter of fact they have over 200 of them in warehouses across the country. Part # is 55077470AA and shoud run about $65.
