Gear shift delay1st-2nd

Anyone notice a delay between 1st and2nd on a more rapid acceleration?
Mine is such that my body actually starts to fall forward from the lack of acceleration!
Is there a "fix" for this? I had an 06 Charget R/T and it had the same problem. After a while it went away, or I got used to it...but I don't think that was the case.

It sucks, these trucks have so much potential but with all the crap holding them back, it makes you wonder. I understand its all about "Lifetime"

ya all of this crap really sucks when your north of the border and dont even have lifetime powertrain to worry about but the truck still has all tha same crap holding it back

I have two Toyotas that do the same thing...and the other Toyota I owned did it.
