I've seen these grill guards on lots of dodges from the 80s. There's not really anything wrong with it. I just want to make my own and I want to make a better one. What do yalls grill guards look like?

I like that but I'd rather not replace the bumper. That looks bad ass though

Sounds good. I had an idea but when I drew it up in photoshop it just looked too bulky

This is the one I made ... Not a grille guard per Se, but more of a bull bar.
Although I have bounced two deer off of it, with no damage :D
I made this out of a trailer hitch frame for an F-150 .... Some really THICK 2 1/2" street sign post ... And lots of 6011 welding rod.
Although I don't plow snow with my rig anymore, I made it so the 'bull bar' fits into plow recepticles... So I could have 'plow' in the winter and bull bar in the summer..
So far so good (W-150 2 ... Bambi 0)

That looks sweet but it's pretty similar to what I have. Maybe I should just re paint mine.
