after alot of searching i still can not find the light that is under the hood. any help in locating it would be great help. thanks

They don't have underhood lights any longer.I think the last year was 2000 for this item.

Pretty sad isn't it , pay 30000 for a van and it doesn't even have a underhood light along with reduced lights inside and in the dash itself . My 96 Voyager has many more lights than my 2004 Town and Country and it cost $10000 less .

In Chryslers defence though, what are owners going to be able to do under the hood at night.

the old light was only enough to check the oil level, you really need a flashlight for anything else
