Does anyone have any idea on how to get information (ie. part numbers) for the lowering components that are on the Shelby Durango's suspension?
Also, the first Shelby Durango's were 4x4's not AWD's right?
Thanks,

I believe the production 4x4 Shelby's were stock height. The 2wd were lowered. There is a guy here that just got one (ruswilliams). e-mail him or he may reply. I know the ones Star Coach produced after the Shelby run were stock height. I don't know if it is true. I did read on another forum that the prototype 4x4's and maybe the first couple of production models were lowered by the DJM kit. I don't know if this is true though.

The Suspension on the Shelbys varied. Starcoach really messed things up when they were contracted some of the work. You ended up with some Shelbys being sold without the correct parts because Starcoach would take parts to keep and replace them with cheaper ones. Originally, the Shelbys and the ones that are still correct used Edlebrock Shocks. There were a couple of AWD Shelby's (I think?) but most were 4x4 and 4x2.
The 4x4 was not lowered nor was the AWD in order to keep its functionality of a 4x4 and plus you have the difficuly of actually lowering a 4x4.
The 4x2 was lowered about 3" all the way around by DJM (Neil Was Right on.)
Many factory bushings were replaced with Uruthane Parts.
That help out any?
Anytime I see Shelby in Posts I get excited, love my car!

Below are the prices from DJM. To lower a 4x4 I think they might offer an application but the Shelby was not. (4x4) That is.

DJM stopped making the 4x4 kit a few years ago. Those parts are for the 2wd. The 4x4 work cost over 1k. Required sending them your steering knuckles for machining and 18" wheels.

DJM is probably sick of me calling them. I actually found the Durango 4x4 kit for sale on East Coast Customs website and called them to tell them they better update their website because DJM stopped selling that kit about 3 years ago.
I was just hoping that the 4x4 Shelby's were lowered so I could swap out parts.
