Out here in SoCal, I have seen them on showroom floors marked up 5K over sticker. Why anyone would walk into a showroom and buy a car off the floor escapes me.

Here in CO we tested one that was decently equipped that listed for $34K.

In Minneapolis area, Magnums are going for sticker or about 500 less.

Couple dealers in the San Francisco area are tryng that 5k over sticker thing even thru the internet. Most California dealers seem to be doing sticker price with no discount. One dealer that is charging $5k over told me that all California dealers are only given one RT per month.

In the area I'm in here in Georgia right now they are unable to keep up with the demand. They have one on the showroom floor and a order sheet sitting beside it.

I am paying $500 less than MSRP. Plus I'm taking advantage of the $1000 bonus cash. Long Beach, CA

I'll wait. I've heard rumors on one of those powerblock shows on Spike TV that they will be coming out with an AWD version.

The AWD version goes on sale in September. This has been officially announced by Chrysler already. :)

took my truck in for the 3k oil change and talked to my sales guy. They're not a big dealership and had only 1 R/T on the lot and it sold with a 2k addendum sticker. North of Boston, MA

propman,
I live in Huntington Beach. What dealer did you find the Magnum at?

I ordered mine for 1% under invoice plus $25, but that's with a supplier discount. I ran that against KBB.com and the price was dead on. I saved about $2000. Guess I'll have some uprgade money after all.

Ordered my RT today for 500 over invoice - not easily done. Requested quotes from apx. 20 dealers and then had them bid it out against each other. Only about 6 wanted to play. The rest were content to take orders at sticker and suckers off the street w/ a markup.

Remeber, cars are commodities - like oil or paper - do not deal with salesmen - deal only with fleet managers or (last resort) the sales manager.

Do your research: edmunds.com, kbb.com etc. I also highly suggest fightingchance.com.

I could only find one place that would give me that deal. One other dealer's GM didn't believe me when I told him if he wouldn't order me a car with the discount, I would go somewhere else. I ordered it the next morning and it was delivered on 8/23.
