Nice looking forum...look forward to getting to know ya'll. I've been looking forever for a nice dodge conversion van and finally found one yesterday... It's paid for already but I haven't taken delivery yet...hopefully Thursday if I can make it up there.
anyway... Whacha think? I'm not real sure what conversion company did the work but I like how the interior isn't all wood..looks more modern this way IMO.
as for questions.... what to look for in the 318? I had the v10 in my 97 Ram 3500 and had the 360 in my 99 and my 01 ram 1500's but this is my first 318...so any suggestions will be appreciated.

thanks! The kids love it...wife hates it...Guess the fold out bed in the back will come in handy..lol
It was a lot less than what I was expecting to pay.. only cost me $9k after fees and crap. its a 2001 with 118k on the clock.... if I can get 150 out of her before I need a rebuild or a swap I'll be more than happy. I've rebuilt every trans on every ram I've ever owned so I expect to have to do that rather shortly...lol

only thing I notice that is not working is the rear blower for air/heat. I assume there is one compressor and two blowers for the ac system? There's one dial on the dash for rear fan...so I assume it just blows whatever you have coming out of the front through the vents in the rear....is this correct? I have nothing coming out of the rear vents at any speed setting of this switch... trying to get them to fix it before i take delivery but I'm not sure they will.

That is correct, it basically blows what is out of the front. Very nice van. mine is a 2001 but nowhere as clean as this!

If the Ram Wagon is a B2500, then you have a full rear HVAC system. The heater and AC lines run to the back along the drivers under side. The blower relay is on the rear unit. You may need to remove a seat to get at it.
The trim cover comes off easy. Just don't loose the clips. Once off, the resistor pack will be on the HVAC unit there. Unplug the connector, unscrew the resistor and replace with a new one.
The real pain is when the knob up on the front dash breaks for controlling the rear unit. The know looks just like the others on the main HVAC control panel. However, the knob mounting hole does NOT have a metal insert to protect it. The more you hand crank on that knob, the looser it becomes until it totally breaks. Been there and done that twice already.
