Anyone find any yet? If so, how much of a difference did it make?
I want some that will bolt right in without welding.
Also, my truck really starts to get on it when it reaches around 3000rpms, the problem is it rarely gets that high. It always shifts on me. What performance mod will help me out other than a PCM.
I want to wait for the MP PCM, hear to many bad things about the Jet.

I have the 4.7 in my truck but go to Truckperformance.com they have complete gibson exhaust systems and headers for the 5.9
Headers go for $339 and cat back any where from $289-$479 depending on what type you want.

ELO, you caught me. Like I was telling Ram Man, I'm a Ford guy who couldn't help but buy the new Ram. My heart was set on the F150 Supercrew and then I saw the commercial! Went out and looked at them and saw the grille :dropjaw:
So now I'm a Mopar/Ford guy! Thanks for pointing that out.
The techs @ www.krcperformance.com said to stay away from the Gibsons. They told me Borla or JBA. I will wait for some feedback from other Ram owners that have installed them.

No prob Slayer,
I know that JBA makes headers for my 4.7 might be worth giving them a call
I once put a 427 FE with tunnel port head & a forged steel crank in a 4x4 so I know what ya mean about being a Mopar/Ford guy.

Elo, JBA does have them and they are highly recommended. Only problem is that the run about $800.

Ouch!
I think I would have to wait on those.
Only run$440 for the 4.7 or $560 for the ceramic coated ones.
Ya $800 seems a bit steep especially since the 5.9 has been around for long enough for everyone to make headers for it.

I think it's more the fact that they are a direct bolt-on to the 2002.

1EVLRAM: Mike Leech co, in Ca makes headers for the 5.9! The price is about $200.00, including shipping. They bolt on. I recommend having them "jet-hot"coated for another $200.00. You will have to have a "y" pipe made. Should you elect to use the MOPAR cat-back exhaust it will cost an additional $550.00. It is well worth the investment.!!

I beleive MOPAR performance parts makes a bolt-on header for your truck.

It shifts too soon on you? In my 4.7 it seems like it never shifts, it stays in gear so long, its really nice. The engine roars at 3500 rpm and up :)
