I have a vibration in the dash of my Dodge Journey. It seems to be coming from the underside of the dash. It must have to do with the vehicle harmonics because it happens at different speeds depending on how many people are in the vehicle. Usually 65 - 75mph. Has anyone had the same problem? Any ideas on how can determine what is causing it and stop the vibration - it is very annoying on trips. thanks

Can't help ya with that one my friend. A non existing issue in ours. Crank up the stereo???:)
Bought ours in Oct '08 and it has about 5K miles on it. Encountered our first problem - water leak with moisture coming in at the overhead where the front lights are. (it has been monsoon season here recently) Perhaps it could be the sunroof but I didn't pull the overhead apart. It goes in Fri for a fix.
Hopefully someone else can guide you with your problem. Hope your dealer can give ya a fix.

I get that too, up around 70-80 MPH. I honestly think it's coming from the windshield wipers buzzing against the windshield. The only evidence I have to support that theory is that if I kick the wipers on while it's happening, the buzzing stops until the wipers return to the bottom, and then it starts again.
I'm wondering if some kind of wind guard on the nose, or something which would change the airflow over the hood would correct it? I just don't know if I want to sacrifice the look of the nose to correct a problem I only experience at speeds I rarely drive.

Interesting theory on the wipers. I always replace factory wipers with a good brand (partial to Bosche or Rainex).
Factory blades are very hard so I go with softer and replace every 6 months. I replace both the blades and "holders" or whatever they are called.
I tweek the factory arms so that the wipers clean on both the up and down stroke without squeeking. I use 2 adjustable wrenches (with rubber pads) to bend the arms so that they align for smooth cleaning without the noise. Trial and error method with a garden hose.
I'm anal about being having a good clear view in bad weather..........;)

The noise does sound like it may be in the widsheild. But, it does not go away when I turn the wipers on. Wish that was it! thanks

I have found the source of the vibration. It was the plastic wind deflector between the hood and windshield. The screws were loose allowing the deflector to move causing the noise. I tightened down the screws and the noise stopped!

Definitely a good update! Once the wife gets home with mine, I'll be checking those screws out as well.

Journey Man, are you referring to the 2 screws holding it down on the corners??
