Can orders be changed prior to "D1" status?? Please Help!

just found out the the "tow group" is now available for order. I really wanted this option but when I ordered the Magnum RT back on 5-14 it was "unavailable" and the dealer did not expect it to become available until the fall. The dealer said they could intall the tow package anyway so I ordered. Now I have come to find out that the "tow group" CAN NOT be installed by the dealer! I went to the dealer and asked that they add the "tow package" and was told NO CAN DO--even though my car is STILL not at "D1" status! They told me that they would have to CANCEL my order from one month ago and "start over." They also told me that there is goin to be a SIGNIFICANT PRICE INCREASE and that there is not even a listed price if you order a car today.

Is this total crap? Anyone out there know HOW to change an order so I can tell me dealer how to do it? THANK YOU!!!!

Once an order is accepted by DC, it is pretty much cast in stone. You would have to reorder I'm afraid.

Orders can literally only be changed for the first few hours after they are placed, unless things have changed since I worked at the dealership.
