Over the last fiew months I have been all over the Net. and have looked in every possable place for pictures of custom B250's primarily, but occasionally have come across some point of interest Mopar related be it Vans or Vipers, and everything in-between. In my searches to gather a recepie for the best 318 I could put together for My B250, I have come across a huge amount of obscure information, bits and pieces as it were, of specifications, designs and general ideas, some sound, others only experinintal. Some of the things that I looked for primarily were pictures of Custom Vans, Dodge Brand Vans. It would seem that as popular as they had always been, there would be more Sites or articles featuring the Dodge Vans. But sadly, I'm finding the subject verry nill. I believe I have come up with a recipie for 'MY' motor, but thats for another discution altogather. For now the comment I was thinking of was: the similarities between the 8.0 litre V10 and the lowly 5.2 litre 318. As I said, having been all over the net, I recall reading that there were many similarities in the blocks of the two in the design and simplicity although the addition of two cylinders. However the site or reading evades me as to where I read it from. But for the sake of 'Having just won the lottery syndrome'....no I didn't ...... but had I, I would be having all sorts of fun with a mid 70's shorty Dodge Van, and likely wedging a V10 in as I have seen occasionally here and there on the net, with a 70's Challenger coming to mind and if I'm correct, I believe I saw it done to a Road Runner. Tight squeeze, but very Sano. Hmmmm.... Hennessy comes to mind, thus the V10 B250, an 80's model or the like would be interesting to do if the funds were available.....ya think.... Sure...we get to thinking up things beter left undone, but dreaming and what-if's have always been in the automotive culture. If they hadn't where would we be now. Practical?....you decide. Lusted after.....undoubtedly. I envision the 'Nautalus' custom Van as a subject for such Frankenstein surgery...........:):):):) Bwwaaaahaaaaa haaaa. Or this little Red number, ya think you could make those tires wail? Something out of the 'Fast and Furious' Black carrying Diesel, Vin Diesel.
