What are the largest tires that will fit a stock 09 4x4?

Local dealer has some nice specials on 09's and I kind of regret buying mine the year before the new trucks were released. I went and looked at a crew cab TRX two-tone model this evening. Thinking about going and trading mine in tomorrow. I currently have a 3" body lift with new 35's. I haven't even looked into parts for the 09. I was planning on doing a tire/wheel swap and keeping mine. I drive my truck daily though and if I need to do a level/lift or etc. then I need to have the parts before I make the deal and try to do it on a Friday.

Any info is appreciated.

I think 35s will fit w/o leveling and a little rubbing.

i do know there is a guy on here he fit 35s on his stock with no rub i think but in nor 100% sure

I tried to put 35s on without a leveling kit on my trx4 and they rubbed to much but they fit nicely with a level kit.

Can you put a level kit on a trx4? I thought it had to be a regular 4x4 because the trx4 is already an inch higher?

Cant you trx guys just take out the 1" stock spacer?

There is not a spacer in the TRX-4. apparently the strut my be a little bit long but that is it, and still not actually confirmed. The TRX-4 sits at the same height as the SLT. I leveled my TRX and have yet to have issues, and there was no issues aligning it.

35x12.50s fit. Backspacing on the wheels used is critical though. A 9" wide wheel with somewhere between +15 and +20 offset will work.

put a $150 leveling lift kit and 35's will fit fine
