I am in need of a complete new fuse block. for some reason the dome light circuit has a 20 amp fuse in the block and has caused the block to melt.
unless the fuse is out the light stays on even with the door switches unhooked.
the PO has done some amazing things with the wiring.

An online search produced this place as the only one with a 74 fuse block. Try calling them and asking if they still have it.

If the headlight switch is turned to the left it will turn the dome lights on regardless of the door switches.
This fuse is a could be replaced with an inline fuse as both ends are for the dome circuit only... Power to one side, the other end connects to the dome lights, then the power flows to the headlight switch and door switches were it's connected to ground by any of these to complete the circuit. (At least this is how the factory wired it.)

Thanks for the replies guys.
I will try the truck place to see if they still have the part although shipping might be costly as I am in Canada. anyway, the headlight switch only makes the light blink when I turn it to the left. as in it goes out for a second then comes on again. same when I turn the switch past the "click". if I turn the radio on the dome light work much like a disco light. (flashes on and off). of course the radio is mounted in a home built overhead console and as I said the previous owner has made so interesting wiring choices. the ground wire for the gauge cluster (aftermarket) was yellow. the power wire for the CB is also yellow (same wire size too) sure makes it easy to trace wires!

I think I will just order a new fuse panel from Delcity.net prices seem good and if I get the 8 terminal block I can add those extra circuit's the rig needs.
