I just got my Lund bug deflector in for the hood and I am kinda disappointed. I will post a pic when it stops raining here. I don't like that it does not follow the completecontour of the hood. As it gets close the end on either side it straightens out and does not protect the corners.
Also it did not come with any rubber pieces to stick on the corners so that it would not hit the paint while driving.
Kinda nit picky but I was expecting a better fit.

Interesting... makes me wonder if the Mopar one is worth the extra $ ???

The Mopar version fits perfect. It attaches using the same four plastic clips that hold the hood liner in place. No rubber bumpers required either as it stands off the hood nicely. My only disappointment was that they aren't offered in the chrome look that the RAM ones are.

Mopar one is well worth it. Allows plenty of room for cleaning while installed and it installs with the factory holes very clean and sturdy.

I really wish someone would make a crome looking one, as IMO that would look damn good on the Dureango with the chrome grille(to see the look, look at the RAM 1500's, as they have a chrome one that is a factory option).

I too love the easy install and fit of the Mopar defelctor. I did pick up a whistle very noticeable inside at highway speeds. Has anyone else noticed this and found a way to quiet it down.
I had the whistling problem for 4 months. I had the bug shield installed at a dealer in TN while on a trip. The noise drove me crazy. Took it my dealer, they blamed my Yakima roof rack. This fall, took the rack off, noise persisted. Went back to my dealer. They decided to order another bug shield for me. When that one came in, it had a rubber strip that goes between the hood and the shield. With that in place, no more noise! Hurray.
Why the dealer didn't check and see that the missing rubber strip was the problem to begin with is beyond me. I even had asked the question "Are you sure the bug shield is installed properly?" They had assured me it was. It was only by ordering a replacement shield that this ommission came to light.
