I'm rebuilding my 360 and thinking of using the Performer RPM cam, intake and a 2500 stall converter to liven the old broad up.

I don't think I'd run a 2500 stall, 1800-2k max.

The specs for this cam are 234/244-.488-.510 so it may need a 2500.

I would stay with an RV cam. My brother built a Mustang (with my help) And it had a 351W and 2200 rpm converter, Edelbrock heads, headers, dual exhaust, forged 9 to 1 pistons.... To take advantage of the RPM cam the engine must breathe well.

If you run a cam of that nature you'll need to install lower gears or it will be doggy at low rpm's.

Minimum a 4.10 gear, and the 2500 stall is exactly what I'd use.

I currently have 3.55 gears with a sure grip. The cam I run now is a comp xe268h which has 224/230 duration 470/480 lift.I was gonna "upgrade" to the Eddy performer RPM package when I rebuild it.This truck has needed a higher stall since I built it 7 years ago but I never did it.The heads have been milled .050 and been pocket ported with 2.02/1.60 valves.I also run Crane Ductile adjustable rockers with the special pushrods.I was gonna use forged pistons and a better set of rods when we do this.I won't be ordering any parts until I check the bore because this block is already .060 and that is about all she can go.
