For those of you who have kept a magnum fuel-injected when you put it in your older mopar, how do you hook up the throttle cable to the throttlebody?

You should be able to swap the throttle cable, I think '79 has the newer style pedal already. If not, just swap in the pedal and cable together, I think you'll have to drill some new mounting holes for the pedal though.

I happened to find a pedal assembly and cable on eBay and it does look like the same style(I just used the picture for reference). The only thing I would have to modify is the mounting hole at the top of the pedal for the cable. I should be looking for a 92-93 cable from a 1/2 ton Ram right?
What can I do about the kickdown cable?
Last question: How much does a stock throttle body flow?

Yup.

Are you using the 3-spd or 4-spd?

I think around 400-500cfm, maybe 600. Throttle blades are pretty big, plus no boosters sticking out into the airflow path. You can mod them to get a bit more (or at least smoother flow).

Hmm, not sure about the kick-down, Magnums used a cable instead of a rod linkage. I'm sure it can be made to work either way, I just haven't ever looked at it. My first instinct would be to try and use the cable kick-down from the Magnum.
