I remember reading a factory TSB some years ago, about our trucks, leaning down towards the drivers side; it showed a "spacer" to be used in conjunction with the driver side front coil spring; this spacer being ~1" tall to "equalize" the front end height side-to-side; anyone have that TSB that could PM me a copy or at least get me the PN of that spacer used???

1" seams a bit tall. Vans have there engine/trans. offset to the right by 2" and they use the same coil springs left and right... On mine to balance this out I install the longer one on the rightside and the largest variation I've seen is about 3/16" which is about perfect on a flat level surface were it can be measured for ride height.

Yeah it does; and even though the offset is the "other" way, I always thought it was because going down the road if there's only 1 person in the truck its the driver; when I was an alignment guy and had to adjust all those torsion bars (esp on Generic Motors--- Blazers Yukons etc) the driver side was always low there too; readj the driver side to match the pass side and 8 times out of 10 camber/caster would come in; unless it had been aligned "cockeyed" by another alignment tech that don't check such things.
The 1" I mention, is from faint memory of what the TSB said (I believe) but its been a LONG time since I remember seeing the TSB, my memory of the actual number may be off.

Your correct about the drivers weight in a truck... in a van the battery is on the driverside along with the driver, but the engine offset to the passenger side so this doesn't occur as often.
Most vans have rubber pads on the top of the springs so you could leave one out on the highside. (My B-300 has none and the noise level isn't noticable without the rubber pads.)
