Im trying to make sure all the vacuum lines are hooked up right on my 84 van with a 360.under the hood there is two small squares with many vacuum lines coming out and two open nipples with knothing attached,ive also found part of a line running back towards the amplifier.i saw a post with something about vacuum lines but coudnt make it work,it isnt hilighted and i tried typing it in.i think theyre for the ac /heat controls?

Do you have the vacuum diagram?
Yes, I'm pretty sure those squares you mentioned are the vacuum lines for the HVAC system.

No,ive looked and dont have that diagram,the one under the hood dosent show them either.

The under hood vacuum diagram will not show vacuum lines for the HVAC system. The best you can hope for is, the diagram to show the one vacuum line that runs off to feed the HVAC system.
