Is there a concensus on what the widest wheels that will fit the B 250 rear with flares ie, 8-10-12" wide, and with what backspace? It appears that one can add 2"'s more backspace than stock on the rear and still be 1" from the leaf's and inner well. Id really like to go with Crager SS's and if the 12's will fit with adding 2"'s more backspace come out just about even with the flares. The fronts are easy to figure out, but less so with the rears. See the rears on the Blue Van, also on the red one, the other as well. The typical fiberglass flares, and on the front the single flares not the wraparound air dam type.

I have 255/60-15's on 8-1/2" rims with a backspacing in the 3-1/2 range similair to the red van on my '71. They fit without a problem and could be increased to 295/50's on 10" rims.... The rear axle on my van is about 4" narrower though as it has an 8-3/4" rear axle.

I've got 15x10's on the rear of my 91 shorty, on 275-60's, with no issues. And they fill out the flares nicely. Pics below are of my van.
