I would like to do a body lift on my 98 b150 van. I know some would say why but i do think 4wd vans look cool. I just want to lift it 2 or 3 inches, So, can I buy a body lift kit for it, are they available or is there just a simple way with the leaf springs and front coils? Also my A/C and heater fan blower stopped working. How hard is it to replace. It is factory. Many thanks

not expensive at all prolly all together with resistor about 50 from the dealer. n u need to take ur time and do one wire at a time making sure u match them up correctly

I bought a pigtail and resistor pack from a 98 Dodge pick up and installed it into my van for 15.00. Could not find same year van in my area, closest one was 2 years older than mine and had a different setup.

Well...you can't do a body lift on a Dodge van since they are unibody, but you can do a suspension lift. Not sure if there are any kits really, so you may have to piece everything out.

I saw something for a lift for the rear leaf springs, a spacer block that would lift it 2 to 3 inches and a coil lift for the front that would add about the same would that work?

Get these u-bolts:
http://www.my4x4store.com/toyota/toyota-tundra/toyota-tundra-99-06/k30061-square-8-inch-ubolt-kit.html

Get these 2" lift blocks:
http://gmostore.gmotion.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=s09&Product_Code=13-1081&Category_Code=lift_lower_springs

Get these 1.5" coil spacers:
http://www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com/cart/prod_page.asp?PID=DAYKC09103BK_9&ClientID=1003&vlink=

You'll end up raising the rear 2" and the front 1.5".
FYI - Most states will not allow a non-4X4 vehicle to be raised more than 2".
I believe these parts will fit, but verify your own measurements before ordering or installing.

Raising the front end by using longer springs and/or spacers will alter the suspension geometry causing the tires to wear faster. Also it will make your handling worse.
Raising the rear will alter the driveshaft angle causing faster wear on the U-joints and vibration if the front and rear angles aren't the same.... also the driveshaft should be longer.
