Accelerator Cable

I swapped a 1974 318 out of my 1974 Winnebago with a 1994 5.2L MPI Engine was out of a 1994 Dodge van. Since the engine in the Winnebago is sitting beside the drivers seat I need a much longer throttle cable than the one on the original 1994. I am using the accelerator pedal from the 1994 as well. So I am looking for a cable at least 5 feet long that would work with the throttle body & the accelerator pedal. Any idea's? Thanks:)

The 97 vans run the cable across the front of the engine to the passenger side of the throttle body, might look in a salvage yard for the 94 -2003 Dodge vans and see if their cable will work for you.

Thanks. That would be the same as the 94 cable on the engine now. It's out of a 94 van.

I reread where on your first post that you have the 94 cable and that it is too short. Here is a link to some universal cable kits and some are up to 15 foot long. Hope this helps.

Looks like you will have to do some modifying to make either of them work.

Ya eh? I'm going to find out if the Neon cable for the XT in '94 was 5 feet long as I have been reading appears to be. I know the pedal end is the same for sure, just need to know if the the throttle body is the same. I have had to modify the air cap to make it fit on the throttle body as well as a clod air intake. A cable that fit would make life that much easier.
