1999 Transmission

It's my wife's car with 47k miles and no previous problems. Transmission serviced, drained/flushed, at 15k and not scheduled again until 50k. No leaks.

While driving to work, at a stoplight, it would not come out of first and the speedometer, while moving foward at +/_ 15mph, registered zero.

Had the car towed and am awaiting................Selenoid or something larger?

Might be a bad speed sensor.................

Sounds like a bad speed sensor. This is unrelated to the fluid change and they run about 20 bucks.
