Hey three things wrong before 70k!!!
I feel the Dodge love!

Apparently the rack on the power steering is leaking, and is not a serviceable item. New rack $800 +$300 labor (midas). Anyone add anything like a conditioner to the PS to stop the leak? I will say that I personally filled it 3/17 and it still shows full. If it takes 6 oz. every 6 months I will pretend it doesnt exist until it becomes alot more serious.

AC. I have to 'top it off' every two weeks or so. I used dye and a borrowed light to look for the leak. The spot I saw glowing with oil around it was the PS hoses off the rack. Apparently midas or JL used a fluid with dye in it??
I didn't see any dye under the hood or at the condensor tubes. Are evaporators prone to leaking on these things??? $$=big ?

AND the air bag light returned awhile back. It went out last year and I assumed it was the clock spring. A friend's son is a tech and needs the extra money right now so he looked at it. Over the phone he assumed clock spring so he brought one with. The hand held scanner couldnt read the air bag codes so it said 'all clear' and the clock spring didnt help either.
A trip to the dealer is in order to get a 'deep scan' isnt it?

Thanks for reading The List.

So if I was joe-blow take-it-in guy this stuff would be mega bucks....$1500 in repairs or what? Awesome for a 3 year old car with 74k on it!

I found a site with cheap parts for air conditioning if you want here's they're e-mail a complete system for my SE caliber was $1000 with factory head.

e-mail: Auto Air [autoair1@tx.rr.com]

and I have a similar problem on my 2006 Grand Caravan for the air bag light, brought it to the dealer and he told me it's a sensor on the front on the bumper I bought the sensor for $35 at the dealer and it's about a 45 minute job .

Here's another site for OEM parts cheaper than the dealer.

Attached a sketch of location.
