I have a 1995 dodge caravan 135,000 miles 4 cyl. basic model. Never had a problem till now,wow what a problem.The van was hard to start one day but started then ran fine,then parked it now it will not start.I replaced the fuel pump relay it is good,then used a jumper wire to check the fuel pump at the relay and the pump came on.When i turn the swith forword the pump does nothing,when i crank over the engine the relay clicks.I change the auto shut down relay as well as the fuel pump relay,also checked all fuses and wiring to and from pump.

so as we call tell the engine is actually turning over? if so you hear nothing when you turn the key to the acc point? and are you able to do a fuel pressure test?

I need to know what would stop the fuel pump from coming on.The relay is not the problem nor is the pressure all of that has been checked.The wiring has been inspected to and from to pump also.the only time the relay clicks is when you turn the key to the start pos. and the engine then turns and has a spark.The auto shutdown relay has also been replaced.A friend told me that a cam sensor could do this but i dont know about that or what that operates.
