Cummins problems #2

While I was in Jersey working lastweek, I had the engine light come on. The tach would stop working here and there too.

I took it in for service last friday....

The clunk I wasnt hearing upon start up is the anti lock braking do-hicky not pressurizing. With that and the cruise control failing, they both were the cause of a faulty brake switch.

The engine lite and tach is caused by a slowy shorting out crank sensor. Dealer told me if it totally goes out, the truck will not start.

I getting it fixed as we speak. The dealer is charging my $300 for the work.

Sorry to hear about your little run of bad luck, but at least the problems were fairly simple, not all that expensive, and didn't leave you stranded. Many happy miles ahead for ya!!!!
