While I was in Jersey working lastweek, I had the engine light come on. The tach would stop working here and there too.
I took it in for service last friday....
The clunk I wasnt hearing upon start up is the anti lock braking do-hicky not pressurizing. With that and the cruise control failing, they both were the cause of a faulty brake switch.
The engine lite and tach is caused by a slowy shorting out crank sensor. Dealer told me if it totally goes out, the truck will not start.
I getting it fixed as we speak. The dealer is charging my $300 for the work.
