2000 Caravan, 2.4L, Radiator fan wont shut off. It killed the battry once. I pull the fuse to keep from killing the battry again. I replaced the temp probe and no change. Any help would be appreciated.

it is probably the fan relay that is sticking on not sure if the relay is in the fuse box or somewhere else but try switchin the relay with another one and see how that works that is usually the problem

I don't know about your van but the relay on my 2002 is solid state, mounted behind the grill. It is more than a simple relay (i.e., switching power). It controls when the fans should run and turn off. In my case, the fan would start running after I had left t and never turn off - killing the battery. Replacement solved my problem.

Thanks, whoever put the relay behind the headlight was a mad man, but its fixed. I still have a trouble code of P0118 Fan Relay. Engine light is on and my care runs rough but the only code I get is for the fan relay. Any ideas?
