air condition compressor

good day,i own 2006 grand caravan se , have noticed air compressor very noisy. the van only has 16,000 miles. i would hope the compressor should last longer.i called the dealer the van has three more months under warranty,the one thing that bothers me if they say the compressor is fine, than i am no longer covered under warranty. what precaution should i take, not to get screwed. thank you in advance

i think if you tell them it is the compressor that is noisy they should replace it. at the dealership i work at if someone says for example the compressor is noisy we would turn it on and even if it is not noisy we would probably put one on anyway.
