Hi Guys and Gals,

Just had a quick question. Bought an 05 Caravan and was reading the forums from the back to front. Never had a problem yet hopefully will be ok for a bit knock on wood. The reason I am posting is I was trying out the info I read in another post on here on how to pull up obdii codes not using a scanner. I gave it a trying and a code came up. The MIL light is not on I just wanted to give it a try. And I came up with code P0633 Immobilizer Key Not Programmed ECM/PCM just wanted to know if this could be there from when they were programming they keys?

I purchased this van because of it's fresh 2.5 engine but the main problem is the dead instrument cluster. Most articles I've found say that the BCM is the problem and that it's located to the right of the steering column. My question is: did the 95 caravans with the 2.5 engine not have a BCM? I have yet to find it. Also, an article mentioned connecting the scanner to operate the gages thru the scanner. I am starting to think that they are talking about OBD II which this vehicle does not have. It has a connector under the hood and under the dash but neither are OBD II. A check gages light is the only thing that works and it is on all the time. Would appreciate any and all input.
