I have been thinking of buying the black head light covers for my durango ... I worry about them cutting out to much light at night ... dose anyone run them .. and how do you like them? .. do they cut a lot of light? ... or do you notice a differance?

I had them on my old truck and they DO cut the light out. Plus, they are illegal to have on at night. Sorry to be the "Johnny Fun Stopper!!"

get the diamond cut joints instead of black outs. IMO they look a lot better.

I have them on my Durango and 2 other cars that I used to have and they do cut out some light, but it really isn't that bad once you get used to it. For the first little bit you drive with them though it can be harder to see.

Have you given any thought to this style cover painted to match your ride?
