Does anyone have the wiring diagram for a 73 D-200? I have recently obtained this truck and it needs work but I don't have the diagrams to know what goes where, so any help is greatly appreciated!

thanks,
PD

where are you located at? I know where there is a yellow one of these in a yard as we speak; 360 2 bbl 727.

Couple solutions for you: if you're flat broke, go to your local library and photocopy the wiring diagram out of an old Mitchell manual or equivalent.

Or, if you can spare $50, buy the entire original Factory Service Manual on a CD (http://www.detroitironis.com/. If you plan to do any work on the truck yourself, that factory service manual will pay for itself very quickly.

I doubt that there will be much difference in the wiring of any '73 model Dodge truck; the big difference will be things like an A/T won't have a clutch switch, a 440 truch's wiring will be different lengths rhan a /6 or a small block equipped truck, maybe one has power windows, etc but the basic wiring oughtta be the same for a few years. and the other thing; you might not need anything for your truck NOW, you can bet you will som time during your ownership; and you will never find what you need, WHEN you need it so its good to know where things are when you find them!

I have a service manual, but I don't have a flat scanner. I can look up the wires for you, if that will help.

FWIW, the D100, D200, D300, and their W equivalents, all use the same wiring diagram.

when i needed mine i went to the local library as well but the mitchell manuals they had only went back to 83. i ended up going to the local main library and they pulled all the manuals they had and i found a nice wiring schematic thats where i would go. Mine was butchered real bad also. I ripped it all out and went aftermarket.

Come to think of it, I probably have the diagram you need in my '73 FSM. Let me have a look when I get a minute and see if I can post it for you.

I still would highly recommend buying an FSM for yourself if you plan to do any work on this truck, though...it's indispensable and will save you all kinds of time and headache, as well as money. $50 well spent.

Here you go...straight from the '73 FSM.
