This 70 had - what DodgeEm called - a Chevy motor (wasnt it a Detroit Diesel ?)

Yup, it was a Detroit Diesel. I am partial to the Cummins, but the Detroits aren't bad either. If that big rig were mine, and I wasn't looking to keep it bone stock, I would replace it with a big Cummins just for the heck of it. Maybe even custom fab a pickup bed for it just for grins :D
