'00' 16valve engin major hesitation under acceleration HELP PLEASE WHATS THE PROBLEM?

hello,

i start the car...
when i accelerate at about 1/4 throttle it starts to spit and sputter...
then i can level off at a speed and its ok but accelerate again and it spits and sputters...

i'm real handy and think i can fix the problem if i just new where to start and dont want to take it to dealership cause money is kind of tight right now...

sounds like clogged injectors, without actually seeing what's going on

should i just try some fuel injector cleaner in the gas?.

would the engine light come on "solid" if the injectors were clogged?

Check for codes. Ya got any?

Sounds more like a vacuum leak. Clogged injector would show issues across all rpms usually.

Need more info on problem.
