Has anyone purchased an extended service plan for their vehicle,I was quoted a high price for the 7/70 maximum care.

I have not, but I may buy one eventually. I was told you have 12 months from date of purchase to get one. My car was considered used so I got the 8/80 powertrain which is pretty cool.

i got one for my o4 dakota right before my tranny went out i spent a little over a 1100 for it and i got a new transmissin out of it so i think i did pretty well plus i got a gps to on top of it all thats a 249 dollar gps so i think i made out pretty good

You can go to Chryslers website and sign up for discounts for the extended plans. I did that a few months ago and got an email with a discount of like 285 off any plan.
