Did anyone see the latest cover of DUB magazine? It has a Hemi Magnum on the cover! They profile it (owned by NBA rookie Carmelo Anthony) and it's sits on TIS 22s & BFG rubber. Simply the sweetest "wagon" I've ever seen...

On that Magnum from Dub magazine it looks like it was lowered or something. I realize it has 22s on it, but it still looks like the wheel well gap is smaller.

I don't have the magazine, so can someone tell more about the car? What size tires are being used? Are they taller than stock? If not, did they lower it? If so, how? I don't any spring kits are out yet, so was it a custom job, or what?

To me most cars dont look good with 22-inch rims. But that Magnum is an exception! :D

A pic of this car had been leaked out about two months ago, but it was hard to tell just how awesome it really is in that shot. Also, I've never seen DUB magazine anywhere.... lol

I just got through watching Cribs (yea, I'm that frickin bored) and they had Carmelo Anthony on there... it showed the Magnum, but he didn't say anyhting about it, just his Denali and an old Continental.

Man....to each his own....but big wheels makes cars look like big copies of Matchbox cars to me. I guess i'm just too damn old.

Funny how trends get started...anyone know who was the first to put these big azz wheels on a car?

biged6464

what's funny is that Matchbox and HotWheels are both making cars with outlandish wheels/tires on them now!! the trend has trickled down all the way to the toy makers....great question on where the "DUB" mania began.....perhaps folks trying to imitate the big wheel packages found on high performance cars (Lambo's/Vipers/Vettes,etc.).....

Guys, lets take this into perspective. "To EACH his own is CORRECT". You like little wheels, I like BIG ONES. Gold is out. PLATINUM IS IN". In my mind if it wasnt about looks and flash we should all buy TOYOTA CAMRY's and HONDA ACCORD's. They are the best cars for the money (in my opinion). Times have changed.

"Out with the OLD, in with the NEW." That's just the reality of it. :D
