This was the only dodge vehicle i knew used the t-56, well I have a 1993 camaro witha t-56. I'm wanting to get some ideas on what might be wrong, yes i know there different setups then the viper. Anyways its been super cold an this all started back it first got cold, I'm talking about weather in the 20s or lower. Well first gear was always kind of hard to go in you had to use some excessive force once in awhile but it never grinded. Well just rescently 2nd gear would kind of pop or make a weird noise, sometimes i thought i heard a grind noise. It would only do this once per time i started the car up an drove it. most people say its the cold what do some of you guys think. i'm praying some of you can help me a lil better then my other site:worthy:

The T-56 needs to be warm before it shifts easily. I usually need about 5-10 miles if easy driving before it's warm enough to consider enthusiastic driving. Your problem also could be synchronizers not doing their job.

x2 on all of what Kenny said, and it definitely sounds like you need some synchros.
