reset the computer

does the car need to be taken into a shop or the dealership to have the computer reset or is this something i can do at home? -02 dodge stratus-

I'm assuming you have changed a part that threw a code and now want it cleared.
Disconnect the ground on the battery for 30 seconds will clear the codes stored. After 50 starts and it doesn't throw the code again it will automatically clear itself also.
