Hello everyone. I've been considering doing this, and thought it would be best to get some DodgeTalk.com wisdom before I go and try something that may be far more difficult than I think it is.
OK, so the object of discussion is a 1990 3/4 ton 4x4 Cummins. I would like to replace the single axle for a 1 ton dually axle. Is it as simple as bolting up the spring packs, shocks, brakeline, and driveshaft? Or is there compatibility issues/adaptations? I'm not worried about if the bed needs to be cut out for clearance, since it's pretty well rotted out around the wheel wells already.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
