My truck is an 87 short wheel base with a 318 my Grandfather bought new, after the first tranny went bad he had someone put another tranny in it, the first one or original was a 3 speed non lockup, the one that replaced it was a 3 speed with lock up, it never worked right it aslways locked up before you were up to speed, now when running down the highway you can feel it sliping in and out of lock up, it shift thru all the other gears fine, any Idea what may be causing it?
