I have a 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan with an anoying problem, the turn signals work at times for weeks and then stop working. Sometimes, I can turn the car off take the keys out, restart, and after several attempts they may work, but not always. Sometimes, I have been able to jiggle the ignition switch while driving and they may begin to work, but not often. It is very random and intermittent. But usually when I go and start the car if they do not work they gennerally won't, untill some time (can be days or weeks), when I start the car and they magically work.
ps. all other lights, emergency flashers, work fine even when the turn signals do not.

What can it be?

Thanks,

John

The multifunction switch (turn signal switch assembly) is a common problem on these. Easy to replace. Remove the plastic covers surrounding the steering column. Remove two screws. Unhook the connector. Replace switch.
